Central Research Facility website inaugurated by the Director, NITK

The website of the Central Research Facility, National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal was launched by Prof. Karanam Umamaheshwar Rao, Director, NITK Surathkal through the virtual platform in Microsoft Teams on 08-December 2021. 

While congratulating Prof. M.N. Satyanarayan, Chairman, Central Research Facility and his team for developing such a wonderful and user-friendly website, Prof. Umamaheshwar Rao said that NITK is the only institution which has taken a HEFA loan of Rs. 80 crore for establishing the central research facility. Today, it has more than 60 high-end equipment which is the best throughout the world. The consequence of this is that the research scholars and the faculty members will get an opportunity to work on high-end equipment, the result of which will lead to an increase in not only the number of publications but also an improvement in the quality and also will result in patents. The infrastructure will also attract international students and faculty members. Later, Prof. M.N Satyanarayan highlighted different aspects of the website and explained the slot-booking procedure for different equipment. The event was concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Keyur Raval
