Teachers Day Message
5th September,2020
Teachers’ Day is celebrated every year on the 5th september, which also marks the birth anniversary of Dr Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, who was a philosopher and the second President of India.
COVID-19 today has pushed the humanity to the wall, placing them in an unprecedented crisis economically, physically, and emotionally. But in these difficult times a teacher rose to the height, beyond anyone's imagination in transforming the live classroom scenarios onto a virtual platform. Mandates were given overnight to get going with academics on-line. It is exemplary of a teacher for standing tall insurmountably to the challenges posed by the pandemic. I take pride of teachers who did burn the midnight lamps, learning the unknowns, learning to know their own shortcomings, and learning to improve to meet the expectations. With no hesitation in mind, one may concur to say that a teacher plays an important role in lives of a pupil.
I take this opportunity in expressing my appreciation to teachers for your undaunted, relentless effort in beating your old records, imbibing news skill-set to improvise your professional acumen.
I take pride in wishing all the teachers the very best of luck while quoting “Great teachers are not born in the minds of the students but they are born in the heart of the students” -Anon.
Wish you all a happy teachers day
