Dr. Selvakumar Murugesan got two international project grants from DST:

1) Dr. Selvakumar Murugesan, Assistant Professor of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering received DST BRICS STI FRAMEWORK Multinational Grant jointly with the University of Campinas (Brazil) and Southwest University (China) in Tissue Regeneration for the duration of 3 Years from 2023–2026. Sanctioned amount is Rs.44,34,400
 
2) Dr. Selvakumar Murugesan, Assistant Professor of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering received an India-Belarus Bilateral Grant (DST) with Belarusian State University in Hydrogels for Tissue Regeneration for the duration of 2 Years from 2023-2025. Sanctioned amount is Rs.11,64,260
